{my friends are jetting off to take courses abroad in europe this summer, which means they won't be back till august! lame!}
I'm feeling like tibby right now, who
stays home all summer working a deadbeet job while her friends are across the globe in meh-hee-co, greece, and south carolina. Christina and Sarah are going to italy, greece, and egypt. Ev's going to italy and greece. What am i doing? staying home and working at tim horton's. Wow, what a rush - I can feel the adventure already! "would you like that decaf or regular, sir?" "white or whole wheat?" The biggest thing that could happen would be if I spilled coffee on someone and got into a lawsuit - now that would be interesting, and knowing me it's very possible.Hah, okay i know I'm being a tad pessimistic right now. I'm actually loving my job on the other side of the counter, and I'm so glad that my friends get to experience the world AND get highschool credits! It's just so fun to be dramatic sometimes...often....all the time. I get to spend time with my bro this summer before he leaves the nest and takes his first flight as a university student. I get to bond with my brothers and sisters in Christ, and hang out with school friends. I get to make money instead of spend it! Ooh ooh, and I can get my G2! Soon enough it will be me at the wheel - driving with the roof down, the wind in my hair, and listening to my boys jack and john (johnson and mayer, that is), ahh the lifee..
Man, i'm good at pep talks! Anyhoo, dear friends you will be missed but i'll see you soon and can't wait to hear about your adventures! I'll be sure to make my own as well and we can have a tea party/sharing sesh when you get back ;)
